Optional website analytics

This website uses optional Google Analytics only after you select “Allow analytics”. Until you allow it, our analytics implementation does not load Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics, or send requests or analytics events to those services.

Analytics help the campaign understand website use in aggregate: page views, sections viewed, navigation interactions, general device and browser information, and the approximate geographic information Google Analytics provides. The campaign does not use these analytics to identify individual visitors.

Google Analytics is provided by Google and may use first-party analytics cookies after you allow analytics. These cookies help measure visits and usage over time.

Information kept out of analytics

The campaign does not intentionally send Google Analytics names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, voter-list information, supporter IDs, precise location or form contents. Website analytics are kept separate from campaign voter and supporter records.

Your choice

You can decline analytics and continue using the website. Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer of any page to change your choice at any time.

We store your choice in your browser’s local storage under analytics_consent, with the value granted or denied. This preference applies to this browser and website address. Clearing your site data removes the preference, so we will ask again. If your browser cannot store the preference, analytics stay off.

If you withdraw consent after analytics have loaded, the website attempts to remove the first-party Google Analytics cookies it can access and reloads the page to stop analytics. Withdrawing consent stops future collection; it does not remove data already sent to Google.

Without JavaScript, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics do not load through this implementation. The rest of the website remains available.
